As an in-house designer at Philadelphia Table Company, we developed the Drip Table as an exploration of wood turning and sculptural furniture forms. Inspired by the iconic Tulip Table, the project reinterprets the classic pedestal typology through a softer and more materially expressive approach.
The design focused on creating a monolithic presence with a continuous material language between the top and base, emphasizing fluid transitions, refined proportions, and the natural warmth of solid wood. Through the use of wood turning techniques, the piece explores how craftsmanship and material consistency can shape a quiet yet sculptural form.
